Amazon accepts prepaid mastercards
Prepaid Mastercards are an accepted form of payment on Amazon, just the same as credit or debit Mastercards.
Log in to your Amazon account, and then add your prepaid Mastercard under the payment options section.
When you go to checkout, select the prepaid Mastercard to complete your Amazon purchase.
Amazon treats these cards virtually the same as other Mastercards, apart from not accepting prepaid and credit cards in the same transaction.
This means prepaid Mastercards work to buy all products on Amazon, so long as you have enough money on the card to cover the cost of the order.
Does Amazon Take Prepaid American Express?
American Express is one of the three major credit card companies Amazon supports to process prepaid card payments.
Visa Mastercard and American Express prepaid cards are available for use just like standard credit or debit cards.
Amex cards can be used to purchase thousands of items from each category. Amazon allows you to buy as many items as you like with your prepaid Amex card.
Simply select the prepaid option to make your purchase and start the fulfillment process.

Amazon Restrictions on Prepaid Card Purchases:
Amazon makes it very easy to buy prepaid credit cards. There are however some rules that must be followed when you purchase many million of items online.
Amazon can’t enter three-digit CVV codes on the back of prepaid Visa Mastercard and American Express cards.
In some cases, payment may not proceed if it is required by the bank. This prepaid card cannot be combined in one transaction with credit cards.
Amazon notes also that some banks may require prepaid cards be registered with name and billing address. There is a $1 authorization required to confirm the validity of the payment method.
It is not an expense, however some banks retain the authorized funds in reserve until it expires.
So, until your first successful payment is processed on Amazon, it may not be possible to purchase an additional dollar if you have a linked prepaid account with a bank.
These restrictions are only for certain prepaid cards. Amazon, however, offers seamless payments with some of the most well-known prepaid cards.
Amazon orders won’t be processed if there is an issue with your Amazon Prepaid Card, for example, if it’s not able to pay enough money. Be assured that you’ll be informed so you have an alternative payment option.
Amazon Gift Cards are Prepaid
One last thing to remember about prepaid payments on Amazon is that you can top up your gift card balance or use Amazon Cash to keep spending under control.
Amazon Balance and Amazon gift cards can be prepaid. They are great for customers who need to save money and keep their spending under control.
Your Amazon Balance can be used to pay for any Amazon order once it is loaded.
Amazon allows you to add money to your Amazon account to purchase Amazon gift cards.
