Taylor Witzel becomes Simpson’s third chief athletic trainer in the 2020-21 seasons.
Witzel arrives at Simpson having spent two years with Ankeny Physical Therapy. He was the Ankey High School’s full-time athlete trainer. As the school’s official athletic trainer, he also covered all home games and their practice coverage. Before that, he was an athletic trainer with Physiotherapy Associates providing coverage for sport events for nearby teams.
Simpson awarded him degrees in exercise science and athletic training. He was also part of the Storm wrestle team.
