Google Pay: Does it Work at McDonald’s

Google Pay can be used at McDonald’s as it is similar to debit and credit cards transactions.

All you have to do now is order from the restaurant, and then bring up Google Pay on your smartphone.

Furthermore, if you’re going through the drive-thru, tell the cashier you’re paying with Google Pay, and they’ll hand you the contactless card reader so you can pay with your phone.

If you’re at McDonald’s however, place your smartphone above the machine that reads cards and wait for it to finish.

If the transaction closes, you’ll hear your phone make a “ping” sound. Your card reader will then indicate the approval of the transaction.

How Does Samsung Pay Work at McDonald’s?

Samsung Pay operates in the exact same way that Google Pay at McDonald’s does, but it’s crucial to remember that Samsung Pay will only work for those who have a Samsung mobile device.

That said, order your food as you usually would, and then if you’re using the drive-thru, tell the worker that you’re using Samsung Pay.

Next, you will be given a card reader by a McDonald’s representative.

You may also use your Samsung Pay app to pay inside the shop. Simply open it and point the device at the counter.

You’ll hear your device ring or beep to confirm that your transaction was completed.

Google Pay is available on McDonald’s App.

Google Pay for McDonald’s is not available through their app. The Mobile Order & Pay app currently accepts Apple Pay.

Samsung Pay is available on McDonald’s app

McDonald’s currently does not accept Samsung Pay. Only Apple Pay, which is compatible with iOS devices, is acceptable as a digital wallet.
