Target customers can request price adjustments for any product sold by Target. Below are some examples.
How Long Do You Have To Get A Price Adjustment At Target?
Target has a 14-day price adjustment policy. If the price of the product that you have purchased drops, then you can request an adjustment within fourteen days.
You have fourteen days to make your order at Target or contact Guest Services at 1-800-440-0680 for online orders.

Target.com allows you to adjust your price on all types of online products. Call Guest Services at 1-800-440-0680 to make a request for price adjustments.
If you are logged in to Target, you can also use live chat to ask for a price adjustment. Your order number, your email address, and name will be required.
If you are granted your request, you will get a refund with the same card used for payment.
Target makes price adjustments for the holiday season?
Cyber Week and Black Friday are sales events that customers love to look forward. Target offers price adjustment for customers who purchased products before they were significantly lower during Black Friday.
Target has started to waive the 14-day minimum in recent years (2022), which means merchandise purchased around November 1st through November 28th are eligible for price adjustment till December 24th.
Target: How to Request Price Adjustments
Price adjustments for store-bought and online purchases can be performed at Target stores through any checkout lane or the Guest Services counter.
You do not necessarily need to bring the product, but you will need proof of purchase (as listed above). The cashier then will verify that the original price is correct and refund the difference.
Refunds in cash will be made immediately, but credit and debit card refunds may take as long as 5 days. Target RedCard refunds are only possible within 1-2 days.
You will be issued a return card if your check is not cleared. Online orders can be placed by calling Guest Services, or starting an online conversation via the Target app and desktop website.
Target is able to adjust the sale price
Target will increase the price on products which have been placed into sale after 14 days. However, there are certain exceptions.
Clearance or closeout sale items do not qualify for price adjustments; however, you can always return the original product in the given time frame and repurchase the cheaper one.
Target also cannot alter the purchase price of pre-owned or refurbished products. Products marked down by typographical errors are also not eligible for price adjustments.
Is there a limit on price adjustment at Target
Target Marketplace’s third-party Target Plus Partners can not match or adjust the price of merchandise in stores or online.
Target is not allowed to adjust the price of alcohol-based products because of state laws.
Customers who are not members of Target Circle Rewards can’t request price adjustments on products that have been included in Target Circle discounts or deals.
You can request a price match to be able to beat the price of the item from another seller.
