Aldi also sells gift certificates for other retailers and their stores, but these cards are not always on hand. Aldi gift coupons can be loaded with $100 or more, and the price points for non-Aldi retailers’ gift cards vary.

Aldi gift certificates can be loaded with $100 or less; more will require you to purchase multiple cards. The minimum spend is just $5.
Aldi also states that increments can only be made in five-dollar sets. But you aren’t locked in to increments of 10
Do Aldi Gift Cards Expire?
Provided you maintain a balance over zero on the card, it will not expire, and you will not lose your gift card money.
Don’t forget to verify the balance in any old gift cards that you might find. If there is a balance, you can still put it toward your next Aldi haul.
The gift card will become invalid if there is a negative balance or it doesn’t get reloaded within the 30 day period.
How Do You Use An Aldi Gift Card In-Store?
It is easy to use your Aldi gift card. At checkout, mention that you have the gift card. The cashier will scan the gift card and take it. If your account is insufficient, the cashier will ask you to pay the remainder with a debit/credit card.
After your order has been processed, the cashier should give you the amount still on your card. If it is not listed, you can locate the amount on your receipt at the bottom (some cashiers even will circle that).
Aldi sells gift cards from other stores?
This is a tricky question with some caveats, but yes, Aldi does sell gift cards to other retailers.
My research has proven that such gift cards are not popular in the off-season, like during the winter holidays.
It is usually around November 1st that special gift-giving gifts cards are displayed.
Some of the gift cards available might include restaurants like Applebee’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, Outback Steakhouse, Panera Bread, Red Lobster, Starbucks, and Subway.
Other movie/tv options include gaming and card services like AMC Theaters or Hulu.
There could be general/apparel stores like Amazon, American Eagle or Barnes & Noble, Cabela’s and GameStop as well as Kohl’s Old Navy/Gap and Sephora.
Aldi sells prepaid debit/credit and cards to allow the receiver freedom of choice.
You can choose between fixed prices and variable amounts for these cards.

Aldi gift cards can be found at the registers. As you’re standing in line, you should be able to find them above the conveyor belt. Don’t be afraid to ask employees for help if you have trouble finding them.
Third-party retailer gift cards tend to sit in their own display carousels, near the registers. Ask an employee/manager if they’re available and when.

Unfortunately, you cannot use an Aldi gift card online. There is nowhere to use it, as Aldi itself does not have any sort of online shopping feature.

It is easy to find out the balance of your Aldi Gift Card Balance. There are two options.
You can first visit Aldi’s balance-finding site here. Enter the number and security code and you should see your balance pop up.
If you bring your card, ask an employee for verification. The employee can check your card while you shop, at the register or when you pay for your order.
