After your order, proceed to the checkout. After you complete your checkout, make sure to select Afterpay for payment.

When you use Afterpay, you do not need to log in to the account nor go through any further steps. Instead, you can use the card to make purchases like with any other debit or credit card.

However, if you are using the app as your payment method, after you select Afterpay, you will need to log in to your account or create one.

If you already have an active Afterpay account, all you have to do is log in to your account, either on the app or through Afterpay.com.

Logging in will allow you to finish your transaction.

Afterpay does not require you to have an account.

Target will prompt you during check-out to assist you in creating an Afterpay account.

Follow the instructions Target gives you and follow them to the end. When you are done with your transactions and don’t have to fill out any forms, you were approved.

However, Afterpay is only available to those who are at least 18 and possess a valid debit or credit card.

You cannot apply for an Afterpay credit or debit card with a valid card. An active account is required to apply for an Afterpay Card.

Before you can apply for Afterpay, you have to have another credit or debit account.

Target has an after-pay limit

Unfortunately, Target does have an Afterpay limit. The limit applies to in-store and online purchases in the US, New Zealand, and Australia.

Afterpay requires that you spend $1 minimum and a maximum amount of $1,000 to use online.

Obviously, if you are buying an item, and needing to use Afterpay, you will reach the $1 minimum for online use.

Pay attention, though, as Afterpay cannot be used if your credit card balance exceeds $1000.

You can use Afterpay in-store for as little as $100. The maximum amount is still $1,000.

Afterpay may be more difficult to access in-store if you want to use it.

You should keep track of the amount you spend, as well as how low it is.

Be sure to keep your limit at $1,000
