Does Costco Do Oil Changes In 2022?
Unfortunately, Costco does not offer oil changes at any of their Tire Centers as of 2022. Costco had previously offered oil change services to its customers. However, they are slowly eliminating this service since 2016. Customers can instead get affordable oil changes at Walmart, Jiffy Lube, and Pep Boys.
Costco Has Stopped Making Oil Changes
We don’t know the exact reason Costco ended their battery and oil service, but we do know that there were low margins and decreased customer demand.
Costco appears to be slowly eliminating this service from 2016 onwards.
While this was an option for many of the East Coast and Canada locations, Costco now doesn’t offer oil changes.
Are There Other Places I Can Get My Oil Changed?
Although Costco no longer offers oil changes, you have many other options. Here are a few different options:

Costco has in-store Tire centers that offer all its maintenance services. As such, all they can offer is tire installation, repair, and upkeep.

To qualify for Costco’s tire services, you have to be a Costco member and have purchased your tires either from a Costco warehouse or online at Costco.com.
Thankfully, their tires are also very competitively priced.

Find your nearest Costco warehouse to obtain auto care services.
Just type your address or zip code in the Costco’s handy “Find A Warehouse” section.

Keep in mind however that not all Costco warehouses have an In-Store Tire Center. This could be due to other restrictions, such as size limitations.
