This will verify current employment status and may require additional documentation. However, you’ll have to revalidate employment yearly.

How Do I Sign up for the Verizon Nurse Discount?
If you’d like to apply for the Verizon nurse discount, the first step is to go to the Nurses Discount section of the Verizon website and select “Get Started,” towards the bottom of the page.
Further, you’ll be directed to ID.me, which is where you’ll need to go to begin the application and validation process. Registering is required if an ID.me account does not exist.
After your verification has been completed, you’ll be redirected to the Discounts by Verizon page, and you’ll need to select either new customer or existing, and just follow the prompts.
Verizon may request an upload document in order to verify your eligibility if you don’t have a Verizon email address.

You will get a notice from Verizon when the submission was accepted, although it could take 2 billing cycles for the discount to appear on your bill.

Once you have added your discount to your account, the details for your nurse discount can be viewed either through the My Verizon app oder the My Verizon site.
For the My Verizon mobile app to work, sign in, choose “Bill”, and then search under “Account Charges.” You’ll see details about the discounts by clicking the + sign.
Are Retired Nurses eligible for the Verizon Nurse Discount
Verizon Nurse Discount is not available to currently employed nurses, respiratory therapists or other healthcare professionals.
